An Amber Lynn Flashback With PopGeeks.com

There are interviews, and then there are conversations that cover a little bit of everything.

I sat down with Johnny Caps for PopGeeks, and we didn’t keep it short. We talked modeling, dancing, becoming Jane Bond, shooting Goldenrod, life on the road, the Rock-N-Sexxxy radio show, and the work that still keeps my heart in it. Film sets. Fan shows. Great people.

I share some stories from Who’s Jenna?, The Kominsky Method, and Seinfeld, plus why I stepped away from hosting my radio show after eight seasons to put my attention back on acting. I loved that show. But acting takes work. Auditions, workshops, coaching – all of it.

The conversation gets into the autobiography and documentary biopic, too. That’s a piece of my life I’m taking my time with.

Was Amber Lynn on Seinfeld?

A fan and friend, you’ve just got to give it up for the eagle-eyed Larry Lovelace‘s keen attention to detail when watching legendary early 90s sitcoms.

That’s because Larry is responsible for making me aware of my (sort of) appearance on Seinfeld. In the classic 1991 episode, “The Stranded“.

I had to rewatch the episode and see the marquee reference to “Amber Lynn” for myself.

If you too need a reminder: Jerry, George, and Elaine go to Long Island for a party. George takes off with a woman and Elaine decides to head back to the city… leaving Jerry pretty much stranded. It spirals further out of control once Kramer shows up (with a date), but that’s the basic summary.

And Larry wasn’t the first person to notice the reference. The Sein community called the shot out back in 2019. As did a Redditor in 2018. While I was never in a film called “I Need More Sex“, it’s cool to know that title must have been one of the many jokes (a visual one) contained in that classic episode.

Maybe I’m always the last to know – but I’ll take it!
